Meet our Executive Director
Diadrian Clarke,
The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night." This line by poet Henry Longfellow is a great source of motivation for Diadrian. Following her departure from Prairie View A&M University, Diadrian spent three years in the Cosmetic Lab, from Lab Technician's position to Product Development Chemist and even to the point of interim Quality Control Manager.
This growth in a short time provided for such valuable experience that propelled Diadrian into the Non- profit world. She joined the Central Family Life Center staff as the Office Manager, then moving into the role of Assistant Director of Operations and later Associate Director, all while gaining valuable experience under Rev. Dr. Demetrius Carolina’s leadership. Diadrian currently serves the Central Family Life Center as the Executive Director as of July 1, 2023. In this capacity, she has been propelled into leading and growing the organization
Diadrian possess a Masters of Arts in Religious studies with a concentration in Non-Profit Leadership, obtained in May 2022. Her thesis submission for her degree included work with the Central Family Life Center in the development of a new employee orientation program.
Diadrian’s goal in her tenure as the Executive Director of the Central Family Life Center is to maintain the many relationships that the organization currently has while building on the funding and expansion of programming currently offered by the organization.
Diversification experiences have always been a goal for Diadrian, and she aims in all her life’s experiences to gain as much as she can from them. Diadrian earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. While at Prairie View A&M University, as a member of the Honors Program she traveled to China and was exposed to its dynamic culture, architecture, and language. Being from Jamaica, the importance of being aware of different cultures when interacting with others quickly became of high importance.
Diadrian currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Health Center of Richmond (CHCR). She is also married to Horatio Reid.
